Rev. Portia Iverson joined North Side as the Interim Pastor early in 2009. She became a minister after 17 years as a professional actress in New York City so she brings a unique perspective to preaching and often uses illustrations from moments in the movies to remind us that God meets us wherever we are, in whatever place and time we find ourselves. During 2009, North Side will be searching for a new permanent pastor who will bring their unique gifts to this special oasis.
Patti Farmer
Patti Farmer joined the North Side team as Office Administrator in November, 2008. Patti has a positive spirit and offers great administrative skills to help the congregation run effectively. Patti and her husband, Larry are the parents of two sons.
Jonathan Wilhoft
Jonathan Wilhoft became the Choir Director for North Side in October, 2008. Jonathan works for Oriental Trading Company as a graphic designer. You can often catch him on stage at one of the various community theatres. Jonathan has two grown sons.
Allison Daley
After graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan with a BA in Business and Music, Allison Daley has continued her musical career singing with the Omaha Chamber Singers. Allison grew up and played the piano and sang at Crestwood Christian Church in Lincoln, Nebraska before joining our keyboard staff in 2007.
Brian Jay
Brian Jay has served North Side for a number of years, mainly at the organ and piano. Brian works for First Data and sings with the Omaha Chamber Singers.
Mary Sutton
Mary Sutton has been making music at North Side for many years. For the last few, she occasionally plays during worship and often pulls together small ensembles to sing special music. Mary shares her life with her dog and enjoys spending time in her art studio.
Marcia Kisor
Marcia blesses us with her eye for order and cleanliness. She spends countless hours making our building shine. Most days you will find Marcia teaching in Yutan.
